Part of the appeal of Denemouth is that it feels tucked away, but it is very easy to get to. Here is how it fits together.
By road
The park is on Coast Road, the A1086, at Blackhall Rocks. The A19 runs a few miles inland, so you are a few minutes from a fast road north to Sunderland, Newcastle and Tyneside, or south to Teesside and on to the A1 and North Yorkshire. Durham is about half an hour away, Sunderland about the same, and Newcastle about forty five minutes. Use the postcode TS27 4BL for your sat nav.
By train
The Durham Coast line runs close to the shore between Newcastle and Middlesbrough. Horden station, opened in 2020, is the nearest, a short drive north, with trains calling at all stations along the coast. Hartlepool station, about fifteen minutes south, has more trains, including services to London. For the east coast main line, Durham station is about half an hour away.
By air
Teesside International Airport is about forty minutes away, and Newcastle International Airport about an hour, so it is a realistic choice even if your main home is a long way off.
Once you are here
A lot of owners find they hardly use the car once they arrive. The beach, the coast path, Castle Eden Dene and Denemouth Bar are all on foot from your door. Hartlepool is close by for the shopping, and the bigger days out are an easy drive.
Owning a home nearby
Easy to get to, and hard to leave. Denemouth Park is a family run, owners only park at Blackhall Rocks, with homes for sale on the Durham coast, every price shown up front. Come and see how much is on the doorstep.
